Dubai - Last month saw Air Charter International come to the aid of a patient in need of immediate medical attention.
At the end of November, Air Charter International received the enquiry to arrange a Medevac aircraft for a passenger in the Middle East. Charter Sales broker Caroline Jongma set to work on finding the best available aircraft for the client.
“The flight was from the Maldives to Northern Europe and required extensive coordination from our side due to its urgency” she said.
Working round the clock, Ms. Jongma and the team at Air Charter International sourced a Learjet 60 for the journey.
“The aircraft was a good match because it provided a cost effective solution without compromising on the patient’s safety and comfort”.
The patient was in need of urgent medical attention and his condition was such that he required a proper Medevac aircraft. This allowed him to travel safely to his destination in Northern Europe.
“Although the patient and his close relative were travelling on a business jet, they had medical personnel and equipment onboard in case of any possible medical emergency en route” Ms Jongma stated. .
The flight departed from the Maldives and landed at its destination successfully. The passengers were delighted with the outcome of the flight and hope to use Air Charter Internationals services in the future.
